LogiMAT outdid itself and welcomed a total of 67,420 visitors. The Packsize stand also met with enormous interest, thank you to all visitors for your interest and many interesting discussions.
Visitors were able to experience the X5® live and in action, a highly innovative, automated, made-to-measure packaging solution in a completely operational process setup. It efficiently supports the intralogistics of eCommerce fulfillment in particular and significantly improves productivity and sustainability. However, the exemplary process shown is also ideal for manufacturing firms, e.g. for medical technology or automotive spare parts. Up to 600 multi-product orders can be packed and dispatched per hour, almost 5,000 per shift.

At LogiMAT, we simulated a process in which orders come directly from the WMS and are provided with a barcode for each order/tote. Scanning these codes, the X5 provided the appropriately calculated box - upright, bottom-sealed and pack-ready. The process we showcased is just one of many possible solutions.
